Doctor Mary Lawson

Dra. Mary Lawson is a chiropractic physician with over 30 years experience. Dra. Mary uses low force, gentle adjusting, along with Acupuncture, Nutritional Consultation, and Muscle Rehabilitation. Each treatment is about an hour long because Dra. Mary has always been committed to results, and thinks patients also want results. With an hour to work with Dra. Mary first rehabilitates the muscles that are supposed to hold the adjustment in place. Next, Dra. Mary uses Acupuncture points that she stimulates with a tuning fork which vibrates and relaxes the surrounding muscles, and stimultes the Acupuncture point as well. Dra. Mary has studied Acupuncture since 1978, learning Acupressure before learning to use the needles. Since Dra. Mary uses Acupuncture on herself, she knows from personal experience how affective Acupuncture can be.

Dra. Mary lives in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico. San Miguel is a Spanish Colonial town in the mountains at 6,300 feet. Because the romantic Spanish Colonial architecture is so beautiful in so many different lights, Dra. Mary has made lots of photos of the town, and the neighboring Spanish Colonial towns of Guanajuato, and Queretero, along with the many, many cultural activities, and every day activities that are bright and colorful. Dra. Mary is also a trained psychic doing psychic readings and healings.

Dra. Mary paints in acrylics, and has many styles which she will be showing on this site as well.Dra. Mary has made a Guided Relaxation CD that leads the listener through the whole body relaxing each and every little part, while she also guides the listener's breathing.

Dra. Mary's Guided Relaxation takes 40 minutes and guides the listener through the whole body, guiding breathing, and relaxing each and every little part of the body. Dra. Mary's soothing voice, plus the windchimes in the background, help permanently reduce stress.

Dra. Mary has a second, hour long, CD using Neurolinguistics Programing, a very effective technique developed by Milton Erickson, John Grindier, and Richard Bandler. in the 1970's. It is called 'Behavior Changer' because it uses the NLP formula called 'Reframing', to help people change unwanted behaviors like smoking.

As I have said, I paint in acrylics and have many different styles. I also like photography, and since I live in this beautiful, Spanish Colonial town in Mexico, I have taken lots of photos of the buildings, the events, and the every day life here in Mexico.

I also write, and have written my life's story. I find 'cross-training' for me is to write until I feel exhausted, then I paint until I exhaust that thread of energy and inspiration.
